Laparoscopic Repair of Duodenal Perforation is a minimally invasive emergency surgery to seal a hole (perforation) in the duodenum—the first part of the small intestine. This type of perforation is often caused by a peptic ulcer that has eroded through the intestinal wall, allowing stomach contents to leak into the abdominal cavity, which can lead to peritonitis (a life-threatening infection). 🧬 What Is a Duodenal Perforation?
